I left Famous Grey a while ago now. If you haven’t done it yet, check them out, they are incredible! They did a guest spot on Radio Sonar and makes me proud to have worked with them.
Since then I’ve been noodling about, practicing, doing a bit of writing etc, I can play with a pick now! At the same time I’ve also been looking to join or create another band. A bit more mainstream punk-rock this time (Think ‘New Found Glory’, ‘Hundred Reasons’ or ‘A’), but something which includes the things I learned while playing with FG.
Aggressive, with bundles of feeling and energy
I’ll see how it goes.
This week, Famous Grey are in the studio putting down tunes for the EP.
Drums, Guitar and Bass is down and sounding amazing. The shouting starts tomorrow and the noise will be up on the Famous Grey myspace to listen to next week!

This is the new band I play bass for, the tunes are shaping up to be epic! We are looking to record an demo in the next couple of months and then play some shows and drum up interest. I am really excited about this… Hardcore!!

Hundred Reasons at the Wedgewood Rooms, supported by Canterbury and Scholars.
This is the first time in a while where I’ve gone to a gig and been genuinely impressed with both the support bands. Scholars were on first, I recommend you check out their single Hydrochaesin from the Hundred Reasons: Singles Club #4. There is also a single for Hundred Reasons (Break The Glass) and Canterbury (Set You Right). Both support bands were awesome keyboard tinged pop-punk with some amazing vocals. Read more…
